1. TEAM FEE
The team fee is $950.00, due at the coaches meeting (location/date TBD). All team payments MUST be made in CASH, no exceptions. We will only be accepting sixteen (16) teams this year.
2. SEASON
Each team will play eight (8) regular season games. Eight (8) teams from each division (post-grad/undergraduate) are entered into the single elimination playoff tournament. A champion from each division will be awarded, and the two will face off in a best-of-three series to determine the B.S.T GATE CITY CLASSIC 2012 League Champion.
3. JERSEYS
We will provide each team with ten (10) jerseys that must be worn at every game due to sponsorship agreements. Players without jerseys will not be allowed to participate. A technical foul will be assessed if a player without a jersey is needed to account for five starters. We recommend that coaches collect jerseys at the end of each game and hand them out at season’s end.
4 ROSTERS
Every roster must include ten (10) players, due to summer travel plans. We do not want any forfeits. Teams that forfeit a game will be required to pay a $50.00 fine before the next scheduled game.
5. DISCLAIMER
B.S.T reserves the right to remove any players or persons of a “chronically bad influence” or disruptive to the competitive environment within a GATE CITY CLASSIC event.
